Burnout Paradise

Got it on PS3. It’s pretty darn sweet actually, the graphics are awesome. I do feel it has some issues, but for the most part it’s a pretty darn good game. Well worth the £40 (ouch!) I paid for it.

If you’ve got a PS3 and want to play with me, my PSN ID is “WilliamTM”. ;)

I never understood what makes the whole smashing-into-things genre of driving games fun. Maybe it’s just me, but I prefer driving games that require NOT crashing the car.

Actually, the point of Burnout Paradise is not to smash your car. It only slows you down in a race, and you have a higher chance of losing.

It’s certainly more realistic then other games in which you can’t break your car at all. But if you want realism, don’t play BP – you can go over jumps and fly, do barrel rolls, and the top speed in some of the cars is just silly.

    It’s awesome :D

@drunkard: there’s actually only one thing in paradise that is useful when crashing your car and that’s opening showtime and try to set a street record but when you do so in a race the race stops. So it’s all about not crashing like william said
