@drunkard: there's actually only one thing in paradise that is useful when crashing your car and that's opening showtime and try to set a street record but when you do so in a race the race stops. So it's all about not crashing like william said</description>

		<description>Actually, the point of Burnout Paradise is &lt;strong&gt;not&lt;/strong&gt; to smash your car. It only slows you down in a race, and you have a higher chance of losing.

It's certainly more realistic then other games in which you can't break your car at all. But if you want realism, don't play BP - you can go over jumps and fly, do barrel rolls, and the top speed in some of the cars is just silly.</description>
