I received an email from the hosting admins next day that if I was going to do that again, could they please notify them in advance so that they can take steps to ensure it doesnt crash everyone. I thought that was particularly funny, given the hosting I was on was supposed to be pretty good (I'd been referred by people I know). Obviously its not so I'm moving on :) hehe, yeah, Digg crippled the server my site was on.
