Now with a new and improved tagline!

Since I got my iPhone, quite a few people seem to have expressed an interest themselves, and refuse to believe how easy it is to get an iPhone and unlock it. So here is a simple guide of exactly what I did, what it has, and so on.
Update (30th April 2008): Moved the guide to a proper page now, and added some more info: http://william-hook.com/iphone/

I’m still a bit scared about doing it. Do you think you can do it for me, including paying for the iPhone? Thanks heaps buddy!
LOL, no.
Hi,
When its unlocked, does the iPhone still work with iTunes or is there different software you have to use?
Thanks.
It works absolutly fine, all the sync features work - music, contacts, mail, and so on, with Outlook or whichever program you use.
The only issue I had, which you’d have with the iPhone even if it was on a contract, is that if you use Firefox, you’ll need to setup a sync between Firefox and either Safari or Internet Explorer.
iTunes can only sync bookmarks from those two browsers, NOT Firefox.
Hi William, thanks for the tips, some really useful stuff on here.
Do you know if I can use an unlocked Iphone 1.1.4 with the 3 network? Some people say you can, others you can’t and I reckon you would just give a straight answer.
Many thanks,
Paul
I’ve heard some reports of it not working, but I don’t know for sure I’m afraid. Sorry.
