Now with a new and improved tagline!
10 May
I was in town today, and it’s hardly hot - 20-25c or so, and yet there are people walking around with no shirt on and I overheard a couple of people say “wow it’s hot today”.
I lol’d, because if this was Australia, they’d all be saying “hmm, nice and cool today”. See, there, it reaches up to 42c. So all you British people who say it’s hot, shut up and visit to Australia in summer.
Hell, go in winter too. It’s winter there now, and I noticed that it’s been sitting at a nice 15c in Perth during the day, over the past week.

HAHA!
No kiddin’
It’s all relative: if it only hits 15C in winter in Aus, that makes our (UK) winters far colder than theirs, hence why our summers seem hot. Also, if what I read/hear is correct, it’s far more humid in the UK during summer than it is in Australia, which makes you feel even hotter - think of it as the opposite of wind-chill in winter.
What Fr3d said. Humidity has a huge impact. n00b.
I still don’t get why people say that 25c is hot. I didn’t feel at all hot today, yet everyone else around me did. n00b?
Australia is closer to the Equator than the UK, and incase you haven’t noticed since you moved here it rains a hell of a lot, and it’s bloody freezing
So be grateful of the nice weather…or move back to Austraila and stop complaining!
I don’t mind the rain either.
