iMac!

I got an iMac yesterday, from the Apple Store in Birmingham.

It’s the 2.8Ghz 24 inch model, and it’s awesome. The screen is uber clear, and OS X is superb - I can’t believe I lived without it for so long since I had a Mac mini.

Anyway, I put some unboxing pics on my photostream so have a look here.

I’m still getting used to some of OS X’s quirks again, but so far I’m almost spot on, except for mainly copy and paste (CMD+C instead of Ctrl+C).

Pretty happy with it, yeah. I was actually considering getting it as a replacement for my PC, instead of the iMac, but I still want to play games sometimes, so I wanted the better graphics chip.

I might get myself a MacBook in the summer, isn’t that just great.

I noticed that you got yourself .mac, and you have to pay for that, right? Is it really worth to have .mac?

.Mac at the moment is pretty crap, but I got it for when it changes to MobileMe.

Been using mac for over a year now myself. Love it!

I want the new model of iMac tho =/ and a macbook pro =/

Haha, well, I’ve been thinking of picking up a bargin Macbook off eBay to replace my Sony Vaio.

Except they’re not really bargins. They’re all so much.

Anyway, go for it and get a Macbook Pro. Spend some money!

You ‘about me’ page boggles me..the amount of moving around you did is silly lol.

Love my mac book, so much better than Windows, I would love a imac but think Im saving up for the G5 with the new range of 30″ monitors (when they come out)
