Yeah but you need a valid key for that, and I don't know where my old Vista beta keys are, nor do I want to bother bypassing it when you can get a pre-cracked XP ISO. :P

@ Jamie: What if the LED backlit on this one breaks, the RAM burns out, and then while taking it back to the Apple store it rains so hard that the dead one gets wet, and then Apple refuse to replace it? I'd call that worse case scenario. :P

@Declan: Someone else suggested that it might have been the RAM, and I think it might have been. However, I swear I've used it all up before and it never had an issue then. O_o

Whoa!

Never quite seen the keys come off on that, the only issue that really bothered me was the F key slanting, however the F keys I use all the time (volume & brightness) have started straightening out and I believe in time will be completely straight.

Also the squeaking spacebar seems to have disappeared just now but it is one of the most annoying things on this planet when it is doing it! The Apple replacement thing is stupid. if you smash the glass on the screen it's a whole new lid etc., whereas on the iMac you simply lift the glass off with a suction cup and replace it, I feel this is to earn as much money as possible from after warranty repairs.

Kernel Panics usually mean dodgy RAM, might not show up until you use all the RAM, perhaps the VM maxed out the RAM and used the dodgy sector causing the BSOD's & Kernel Panics. You should have had a look in the system log file after the first one as it would give you some clue as to what was causing it. :)

Good luck with the replacement parts or MacBook three.
